1. Windows XP (x64 and x86) and Windows 7 (same steps)
Go to Start > Run > type in REGEDIT (capitalization not important) > then go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Servic es\Tcpip\Parameters > right click anywhere in the left side of the window then select NEW DWORD (it is very important that you choose dword, even you are x64 user), then input the dword name, after the new registry entry is made, double click it and input the dword value....

TWEAK ON DEVICE MANAGER

NOTE: this works on desktop, if you are using a laptop, go to your network adapter on your device manager then configure your network adapter to highest possible settings.
Go to desktop > My computer-(right click on) >properties > then go HARDWARE tab > Device manager > Now you see a window of Device manager > then go to Ports > Communication Port(double click on it and Open).
After open u can see a Communication Port properties.
Go the Port Setting > and now increase your "Bits per second" to 128000 and "Flow control" change to Hardware > click Apply and see the results.

1. Disable Unwanted Functions using shortcut command:
You can disable lots of Google Chrome unwanted functions by editing its desktop shortcut. You need to add only -disable-java word in Chrome shortcut path.
a) Right click on Chrome desktop icon and select properties.
b) Now you can see Target path under shortcut tab of Google Chrome you just add -disable-java at then end of complete shortcut path. It will disable all java functions of browser and speed up.

c) You can use some more commands for disable other unwanted functions:
-disable-images – Use it for disable all images from browser. This option very useful if you are using low bandwidth internet like Mobile GPRS. It will also save your internet charges if you are using limited bandwidth internet. After disable images your browser start working like text browser and load fast all web pages.
-disable-plugins – Flash and other media files makes page more slower if you are using slow connections. You can use this command for disable all media plugins of Google Chrome and it will definitely improve your browsing speed.
-disable-logging – Google Chrome support logging of all user and browser activity and logging activity uses system resources and reduce system performance also. By disabling this option you can save CPU and RAM power also.
-disable-dev-tools – This will disable Developers tool which is not used by a normal user for sure.
-disable-java – Java on the web is rarely used these days and it greatly slow downs your browsers performance. If you not running any online application which uses Java or Java Applets you can safely disable this feature. This will prevent you from playing number of Online Java Games though. (like Yahoo Games)
Disable-java-script – This will disable all kinds of JavaScript from being run on the web pages you visit. This is not recommended at all as most of the sites these days are using some kind of JavaScript, to display pages. By Disabling JavaScript you will not be able to see these site properly and they will behave improperly.
